PM Modi shares Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s article on farmers’ welfare and empowerment

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared an article written by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, highlighting the government’s initiatives for farmers’ welfare and the transformation of India’s agriculture sector over the past 12 years.

The article underscores the “unprecedented work” undertaken for the welfare and empowerment of farmers, noting that various government schemes for Annadatas have brought significant positive changes in their lives.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the article outlines the transformative journey of the agriculture sector and details how targeted interventions have strengthened rural livelihoods and farmer prosperity.

Sharing the article on social media platform X, the PMO said that the initiatives implemented over the past 12 years have contributed to visible improvements in the lives of farmers across the country.

“Over the past 12 years, unprecedented work has been done towards the welfare and empowerment of farmer brothers and sisters. Government schemes for Annadatas have brought significant positive changes in their lives”, the PMO said in a post on X.

“Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has detailed this transformative journey of the agriculture sector in his article”, the PMO added.
