PM Modi to distribute over 51,000 appointment letters at 19th Rozgar Mela on May 23

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited candidates at the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela on May 23 via video conferencing, as part of the Centre’s ongoing employment generation initiative.

According to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Modi will address the newly appointed youth during the event, which will be held simultaneously at 47 locations across the country.

The newly selected candidates will join various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, including the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Department of Financial Services and Department of Higher Education, among others.

The PMO said the Rozgar Mela reflects the Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritising employment generation and creating opportunities for youth across sectors.

Since the launch of the initiative, nearly 12 lakh recruitment letters have been distributed through 18 Rozgar Melas organised nationwide.
