Sensex, Nifty see second consecutive day of decline; Hero MotoCorp surges 4.6%, L&T dips 4.3%

The Indian stock market saw a downturn for the second day in a row on Thursday. The Sensex dropped by 0.64 percent to 73,003, while the Nifty fell by 0.61 percent to 22,162 as of 10:25 am.

Hero MotoCorp emerged as the top performer with a significant surge of 4.6 percent. Following closely were M&M with a gain of 1.98% and Bajaj Auto with an uptick of 2.28%. Eicher Motors and Tata Motors also showcased positive momentum, registering gains of 0.78% and 1.05%, respectively.

On the flip side, L&T led the pack of losers with a notable decline of 4.3%. Divis Labs followed suit, witnessing a dip of 2.61%, while Tech Mahindra and TCS experienced declines of 1.92% and 1.34%, respectively.
