Seven shuttlers are set to represent India across four categories in the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) said on Monday. In a post on X, the SAI said that two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu will be the sole Indian entrant in the women’s category.
Meanwhile, the star pairing of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have qualified for the summer games and are expected to be among the favorites in the men’s doubles category. The women’s doubles will see the duo of Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa representing India. Ace shuttlers Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy will compete in the men’s singles category.
The Paris Summer Olympics is set to take place from July 26 to August 11.
