Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Hosts Dharmendra Pradhan in Abu Dhabi

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, UAE and the Chairman of the Education and Human Resources Council (EHRC), welcomed Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of  Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship   This momentous meeting, held on November 1, 2023, was marked by substantive discussions and significant developments.The primary focus of the meeting was the enduring friendship ties that have long connected the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India, as well as the robust comprehensive strategic partnership that encompasses various sectors. The key agenda included exploring opportunities for collaboration, with a particular emphasis on the realm of education.

During their deliberations, both officials deliberated on the promising prospects of bilateral cooperation within the education sector and the proactive initiatives that have emerged as a result. A notable highlight was the recent revelation of plans to establish a branch of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi) right in the heart of Abu Dhabi, marking a historic milestone as the first such branch outside of India. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed extended a warm and gracious welcome to Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, accentuating the deep-rooted and enduring relations between the UAE and India. Both nations share a mutual commitment to fortify and sustainably develop these exceptional bonds.
