Deep depression over Bay of Bengal intensified into cyclone ‘Remal’: BMD

The deep depression over east-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining west-central Bay moved northwards, and intensified into cyclonic storm 'Remal'. The Cyclonic storm 'Remal' is likely to hit southern districts of Bangladesh by Sunday evening, a meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said. Cyclonic storm likely to hit Bay of Bengal today evening; Severe Cyclonic Storm expected in Bangladesh tomorrow

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) highlighted that the "Deep Depression" over the East-central Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by this evening (Saturday).
