ESI scheme records 17.80 lakh new enrollments in October

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) recorded 17.80 lakh new employee enrollments under the ESI Scheme in October, the ministry of labour and employment said. The month saw the addition of 21,588 new establishments under the ESI Scheme, extending social security coverage to more workers.
