UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence  Celebrates India’s 78th Independence Day, Lauds Bilateral Ties

In an address commemorating India’s 78th Independence Day, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence praised the strong bilateral relations between India and the United Arab Emirates, while highlighting the significant contributions of the Indian community to the UAE’s progress.

Speaking at an event hosted by the Indian Business and Professional Council, the Minister emphasized the close ties between the two nations. “This celebration highlights the close relations between India and the United Arab Emirates,” he stated, acknowledging the council’s role in fostering an “ever closer relationship” between the countries.

The Minister praised India’s achievements since independence, noting its emergence as “a force for tolerance, peace, and harmony, a center of innovation, and a major source of research and development in the entire world.” He commended Indian citizens for their dedication to values such as courage, strength, intellect, justice, loyalty, and understanding.

Highlighting India’s global importance, the Minister applauded its commitment to achieving prosperity for all citizens under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He expressed optimism about further strengthening bilateral ties in political, economic, commercial, and cultural spheres.

The address also recognized the integral role of the Indian community in the UAE’s development. “The United Arab Emirates is a safe, stable, and prosperous country, and the Indian community here should be proud of that because you are an integral part of this progress,” the Minister remarked.

He urged the Indian community to continue promoting cooperation and partnerships between the two countries, emphasizing their positive contributions to life in the UAE.The Minister concluded by reaffirming the UAE’s commitment to enhancing its long-standing relationship with India and wishing for India’s continued success and prosperity.
