UGC National Eligibility Test begins across the country; Correction window opens for JEE Main Exam 2024

National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) scheduled to be held across India from December 6 to 14. The admit cards for the first three days of the exam i.e 6th, 7th and 8th, have been released on the official website. 

However, for the remaining days of the exam, admit cards will be released on a later date. The exam will test students across 83 subjects.

UGC NET is a Test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges. The test consists of two papers, both of which include objective-type, multiple-choice questions. UGC-NET is conducted twice every year (June & December).

Schedule for JEE MAINS 2024 

Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency is also fully preparing to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2024. From today ie December 6, NTA is going to open the application form correction window of the JEE Mains 2024 session 1. Candidates will be allowed to edit some information on their application forms up to December 8. 

To make any changes in the information, the applicants will have to login to the NTA JEE Main website (jeemain.nta.ac.in). 

The last date for filling the online application was November 30. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 will be conducted between January 24 and February 1. The second session of the exam is scheduled between April 1 to 15. 

NTA is an independent and self-sustained premier Testing Organisation, established by the Ministry of Education, to conduct and assess the competence of candidates for admission to premier Higher Educational Institutions.
