Pariksha Pe Charcha: PM Modi shares tips on study, time management with students
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with students from across the country during Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026, offering advice on dealing with exam stress, managing time and pursuing one’s goals.
The interaction involved Exam Warriors in Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur and Guwahati, as well as students at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi. Along with academics, PM Modi spoke about leadership, wellness and personal growth.
Responding to a question from a student in Gujarat on differing study patterns, the Prime Minister said people often receive advice on how to work, but it is important to follow one’s own method. Drawing an analogy with eating habits, he said just as people have different ways of having their meals, students should not copy others and instead trust their own study patterns.
Prime Minister Modi added that students should listen to suggestions carefully and assess whether they are useful, noting that even the format of Pariksha Pe Charcha had evolved over time.
On maintaining speed in studies, PM Modi said this was something teachers needed to address, stressing that educators should move at a pace suited to students. He compared nurturing a student’s mind to the way farmers tend to their fields.
During the interaction, the PM also asked students about the cold weather, prompting them to respond that they had forgotten about it in the excitement of meeting him.
He felicitated students with Assamese traditional handwoven scarves and greeted them in their native languages. Sharing his personal experience, the PM said, “This is something that represents women’s empowerment, as women in Assam design and make it at their homes. It gives a very special kind of pride, so I decided to give this to the students today.”
Students described the interaction as a memorable experience. Tenzin Choiky, a student from Arunachal Pradesh, said opportunities of this kind were rare for those living in remote border areas.
In a lighter moment, a student mentioned that her birthday fell on the same date as the Prime Minister’s, drawing an enthusiastic response from PM Modi.
Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 continues to provide a platform for students to engage with the Prime Minister and receive guidance ahead of their examinations.
