PM Modi, Trump review India-US strategic partnership progress in phone conversation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with US President Donald Trump on Thursday, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral ties as well as key regional and global developments.

During the call, PM Modi and President Trump stressed the need to maintain momentum in ongoing efforts to boost bilateral trade.

“Had a very warm and engaging conversation with President Trump. We reviewed the progress in our bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments. India and the US will continue to work together for global peace, stability and prosperity,” PM Modi posted on X.

Both leaders reviewed the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership and expressed satisfaction over the steady strengthening of cooperation across sectors.
