UIDAI invites citizens to design official Aadhaar mascot; prize pool up to ₹1 lakh

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a nationwide Mascot Design Contest, inviting citizens to create an official mascot for Aadhaar. The contest, hosted on the MyGov platform, is open until 31st October 2025.

The mascot will act as UIDAI’s visual ambassador, representing Aadhaar’s values of trust, inclusivity, empowerment, and digital innovation. It will make Aadhaar’s communication more engaging and relatable across all age groups, while reflecting the spirit of service, security, and accessibility.

The competition is open to all Indian citizens, individually or in teams. Participants can submit one original design, along with a concept note and mascot name, exclusively through the MyGov contest page. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, aesthetic appeal, and alignment with UIDAI’s values.

Prizes include ₹50,000 for the first prize, ₹30,000 for the second, and ₹20,000 for the third, along with certificates of recognition. Top submissions for the mascot name will also be rewarded.

UIDAI encourages citizens to bring their creative ideas to life and contribute to Aadhaar’s mission of inclusion and empowerment. For details and participation, visit: https://innovateindia.mygov.in/uidai-mascot-competition/
