In Dubai, the Indian Consulate is organising a series of programmes as part of Seva Pakhwada, to promote the spirit of service, community participation and national commitment.
On Sunday, the Indian community came together in great strength for the Viksit Bharat Run 2026. The fitness run was organised near the iconic Dubai Frame by the Consulate General of India, in association with the Indian People’s Forum (IPF). Consul General Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy flagged off the run, which saw an enthusiastic response with around 3,000 registrations. The event represented a collective commitment towards the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
The Consulate also organised a labour camp for Indian workers in Dubai, focusing on financial and medical literacy; and informed them about the Consulate services and helpline numbers.
Earlier, the officials of the Indian Consulate also visited the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara in the City, where they participated in Langar Seva, as part of the observances.
The activities are part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada observances, underscoring the spirit of service and community engagement among members of the Indian diaspora in Dubai.
