Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Guarantee wali Gaadi’

Commenced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 15 from Khunti, Jharkhand, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to generate awareness among citizens about various welfare schemes and encourage their active participation in the spirit of “Jan Bhagidari” to ensure the complete implementation of schemes. This initiative stands as the largest-ever outreach effort by the Government of India and is set to cover 2.60 lakh Gram Panchayats and 4000+ urban local bodies across the nation by January 25, 2024.

Currently, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has extended its presence to numerous villages and 1500 cities, including both smaller cities and towns.

On December 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with and addressed the beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra through a video conference, marking his third such interaction throughout the entire journey. On the same day, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Yatra in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram.

In just one month, the Yatra has connected with over 2.50 Crore citizens across 68,000 Gram Panchayats (GPs) in the country. Additionally, almost 2 Crore individuals have pledged their support to the Viksit Bharat Sankalp, and over 2 Crore beneficiaries of Central Government Schemes have shared their experiences under the 'Meri Kahani Meri Zubani' initiative.

Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra represents not only a commitment but also a journey marked by concrete enhancements.
