Commenced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 15 from Khunti, Jharkhand, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to generate awareness among citizens about various welfare schemes and encourage their active participation in the spirit of “Jan Bhagidari” to ensure the complete implementation of schemes. On December 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with and addressed the beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra through a video conference, marking his third such interaction throughout the entire journey. On the same day, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Yatra in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram.

In just one month, the Yatra has connected with over 2.50 Crore citizens across 68,000 Gram Panchayats (GPs) in the country.
